Acceptable Use & Safety Policy

DutchDate is built on fairness and respect. This policy explains what is and isn't allowed, and how to stay safe.

1. Be respectful

No harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying, or discrimination. Treat every member with respect.

2. Be honest

No impersonation, fake profiles, catfishing, or misleading information. You must be the person in your photos and 18 or older.

3. No solicitation or off-platform payments

Do not solicit money, gifts, investments, or off-platform payments from other members, and do not send money to other members. Each person pays for their own date expenses directly to the venue or supplier — DutchDate never transfers money between users.

4. Prohibited content & conduct

• Sexual content involving minors, or any content sexualising anyone under 18.
• Violence, weapons trafficking, illegal drugs, or other illegal activity.
• Spam, scams, phishing, or commercial solicitation.
• Sharing others' private information without consent.

5. Staying safe

• Meet in public places and tell a friend your plans.
• Keep conversations on-platform until you trust someone.
• Never send money to someone you met online.

6. Reporting & blocking

You can report or block any member from their profile or your conversation. Reports reach our review process. To report a safety concern directly, email hello@dutchdate.app.

7. Consequences

Violations may lead to content removal, warnings, suspension, or a permanent ban. Serious violations may be reported to authorities.
